Everything You Need to Know Before Your Vacation

Communication:
Please be sure to contact me on your booking site to ensure you reach me or the person on call in a timely manner. If necessary, the person on call will call you. This will also help so we have a log of communication, in the event you are not personally speaking to me, as I manage several properties.

Arrival/Departure Times:

  • Check-In: 4:00pm (5:00pm on select properties)
  • Check-Out: 10:00am (11:00am on select properties)
  • **Early check-in and late check-out out not permitted due to a tight housekeeping**
  • There is a $25/10 minute late departure fee
  • All check-in instructions and keyless entry codes will be sent via your booking platform 48 hours before arrival.
  • All check-out instructions will be provided to you via your booking platform before check-out. Guests are responsible for gathering all personal belongings as well as vacating the property by the check-out time.

Cancellations:
If a reservation is canceled for any reason after the cancellation period, any rent paid will NOT be refunded unless the property is re-rented for the same reserved dates.  Once sufficient payment is received for a new guest reservation, the monies paid less a $100.00 cancellation fee and booking/service fees. All monies paid for rent or other fees cannot be transferred to another property. If the property is not re-rented on the terms set forth herein, Guests will NOT be entitled to a refund of any rent payment made hereunder.

Pets:
Some of our units are pet friendly, while others have a very strict no pet policy. Please be sure to include your pet in your reservation so we can prepare proper paperwork and collect the proper fee. If you do no abide by this we may be forced to cancel your booking due to Home Owner Association By-Laws (this includes service animals). For full details, please see our Pet Policy.

If you are staying at a property that allows a pet, our Pet Policy Agreement must be signed and all fees paid before arrival.

Taxes:
All reservations are charged a Michigan Use Tax for stays less than 30 days. Taxes are subject to change and any changes are beyond our control.  The current total rate is 6%.

Guest Count:
Please double check your reservation guest count as housekeeping will prepare based on the number of guests in your reservation. If incorrect, please update on your booking platform.

Planning Your Trip:
We have a Guidebook to help you prepare for your upcoming stay. This will outline information about your rental as well as local recommendations. Please share this with your guests and refer to this for helpful information about the unit. You will receive access to Guest Log In upon booking to view your Guidebook.

Cleaning Policy:
All reservations include departure cleaning, but still need your help before you leave.

  • Please gather all personal belongings
  • Remove all food from refrigerator and freezer
  • Please load the dishwasher with any dirty dishes and start before leaving
  • Please gather all trash within the house and take to the outside can provided when you are departing
  • Make sure that all windows and doors are secure and locked before departing.
